Six of the songs that Marienthal has recorded have made it to the top 10 of the National Contemporary Jazz Radio Charts and two have made it to No. 1.

His Oasis album hit the top 5 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Chart. Shortly after that, he was voted one of the year’s “Favorite Alto Sax Players” in Jazziz magazine’s Readers’ Poll. Lao Tizer – Keyboardist is one of today’s rising stars of the world-fusion genre. Tizer’s original music has spurred comparisons of a modern twist to the 1970s and early 1980s heyday of jazz fusion, when trailblazing ensembles like Return To Forever, Mahavishnu Orchestra and Weather Report set the aesthetic standard.

Lao’s music has a multi-genre, multi-national appeal and his group, The Lao Tizer Band, has toured the USA and the world while being nominated “Jazz Group of the Year”!  Their new 2018 CD/DVD combo release, Songs From The Swinghouse has received acclaim across the industry while debuting near the top of the Billboard Jazz Album Chart!

Elliott Yamin American Idol star, vocalist had no vocal training and was 90 percent deaf in his right ear, yet he vaulted to stardom after becoming a third-place finalist on American Idol. ELLIOT YAMIN’s style is perfect for a smooth jazz festival – soulful with a jazz/R & B style. His debut album made it to #1 on the Billboard Charts. Yamin was featured in a nationwide American Idol tour performing live in front of half a million fans. Elliott launched his recording career following his appearance on American Idol as one of the top three finalists.

His highly anticipated album, Elliott Yamin, debuted at Number 3 on the Billboard album chart and was the highest debuting album by an independent artist in Soundscan history. The self-titled disc achieved gold status in the U.S. and Japan, yielding the platinum hit, “Wait for You”. Hailed as one of the best male vocalists, Elliott would go on to release three more albums.

Anthony Crawford is a notable up and coming bassist and music composer inspiring generations to come with his unprecedented, eclectic musical talents.

Musically, Anthony has been greatly influenced by rock bands and bassists like Doug Wimbish, Les Claypool, Doug Pinnick, Metallica, Deep Purple, and Ozzy Osbourne. But the turning point surrounding his musical influences was when he recalls, “I got ‘A Show Of Hands’ by Victor Wooten. That record completely changed my life. I must have learned that whole entire record from beginning to end. That record made me really explore my talent in ways I never thought possible.” It was after this musical experience that he began listening to other great bass players like Stanly Clark, Marcus Miller and Jaco to name a few.

Anthony has been actively performing with notable artists such as Erykah Badu, Peabo Bryson, Jeff Lorber, Dave Weckl, Everette Harp, Frank McComb, gospel legend Andrae Crouch, Karen Briggs, Virgil Donati, guitar legend Allan Holdsworth, Eric Marienthal and has released his solo CD titled, “Urban Jazz”.

Gary Novak is an American session drummer who has collaborated with numerous artists as varied as George Benson, Maynard Ferguson, Chick Corea Elektric Band, Brandon Fields, Lee Ritenour, Michael McDonald, Natalie Cole, David Sanborn, Anita Baker, Andrew WK, Bob Berg, Allan Holdsworth, Robben Ford, Michael Landau, Eros Ramazzotti, Tiziano Ferro, Jimmy Haslip, Alanis Morissette and Travis Carlton.

Born and raised in Chicago, Gary Novak was practically born with drum sticks in hand. Coming from parents of great musical talent, it is no wonder that Gary began playing the piano at the tender age of 8. While most musicians find their musical inspiration outside the home, Novak’s influence came from his parents. His mother, Carol Novak, also a pianist, played with her trio at the London House. His father, Larry Novak, the famous Chicago pianist, not only encouraged the career of his son but also put him to work. From the age of 10 to 12, Novak would work with his father’s trio in all the Chicago clubs, including Mr. Kelly’s, gaining the insight and experience that would lead to several musical milestones obtained at a very young age.
