Hello there Ladies and Gentlemen –
Last post focused on our great fortune to have guitar god Jimmy Thackery coming to the World Records stage this Saturday night. But wait, this IS a double bill – Gina Sicilia makes a tour stop at World Records this Saturday night as well!
Gina is a native of Philadelphia and graduate of Temple University. She wrote and released her first album her junior year and gathered much national critical acclaim for her songwriting and performance talent. She is touring around the country in support of her new release ‘Tug of War.’ Check out Gina’s video

The first three shows at our new place have been a tremendous treat – Elvin Bishop, Coco Montoya, and Spyro Gyra. With Gina Sicilia, this will be a first time to have a performance by a powerful vocalist. I’m a big fan of Gina’s since her stop at the No Stinkin’ Service Charge Blues Series in 2010. I brought her back for the 2011 B-Town Blues Fest. Since then, Gina has continued to write and release impressive albums, and tour the country. The brick and wood of World Records is going to love taking in Gina’s voice this Saturday night!
